Samoens CrecheIf you want to head out for the day and need child care facilities, there is a great creche in the centre of the village.Ski LessonsLocated at the top of the Grand Massif Express ski lift, there is a kindergarten which has a landscaped layout designed specially for children who are learning to ski. It is a risk-free way of immersing them in normal skiing conditions.Older children, aged 6 or over, only stay here for as long as they are learning the basics. A wooden chalet in the skiing area provides the children with a place to go and warm up or have a rest. The kindergarten alternates between ski lessons, games and rest periods. It is equipped with a ski tow which will undoubtedly be as popular as a roundabout. At the end of the week, the children can proudly show off their chicken, teddy bear or snowflake badge, awarded after 6 lessons to show their level of progress. The Kindergarten is open every day for children from the age of 3 years who have never have never skied before, and they all sit a skiing test at the end of the week. A safe play area has been laid out on the south facing slope at the Joux Plane cross-country skiing area. Accessible by car or via a shuttle service from the village.
