Apartment Pomme Guests - UK & Switzerland
Hi Carla and Rob
Just a note to say a big thank you for organising our Easter break with friends. The forecasted rain never arrived and we all had a fantastic time, skiing and apres skiing in the bright Samoens sunshine. We really appreciated your advice and assistance on everything from arranging ski-hire and lessons to booking an excellent selection of local restaurants - La Tournalta was a fabulous little place and the energetic and highly efficient waiter had us in stitches!. Apartment Pomme was great (not really like an apartment, more of a chalet town house) and so convenient for the town and lifts. Thank you once again, we would have no hesitation in rebooking!

Apartment Buqa Guests - Geneva based but originally from the USA
We had a really good time in Samoens. The family enjoyed the hospitality and care that you and your husband gave us. As first time skiers almost new from North America, it was a little concerning to figure out what to do. We personally appreciate the fact the you took the time to take us to get our ski gear and instructor. Then you and your husband went to the top of the mountain with us on the first day so that we could get comfortable. We had a blast. We had an awesome instructor and everyone was venturing on the blue at the end of the week……….Well done!
Thank you so much and you will definitely see us again

Apartment Bonamour and Etoile Guests - from Holland
Dear Carla and Rob,
We would like to thank you for your support before and during our stay in Samoens everything was very well organised. We really enjoyed our holidays. The ski area was a very positive surprise, people are friendly and helpful, the village has everything you need and is an attractive place to be. The apartments have a good set up and are nicely decorated. We are reconsidering the area for next year. We will probably be with an even larger group, by that time we will contact you again.
Good luck with Massif Escape and maybe we will see you again next year !
kind regards,

Apartment Etoile Guest - from England
We had a superb time in Samoens. Etoile is a lovely appartment, beautifully furnished and well equipped. It is in an excellent location for both the centre of Samoens and for the ski lifts. In the evening, iIt was great to relax after a hard day's skiing by lighting a fire, opening a bottle of wine and watching a DVD. Perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank Rob and Carla for their warm welcome, answering our questions and help with ski hire.
We look forward to returning!

Apartment Etoile Guest - from Geneva
Samoens is a beautiful village, not too small nor too big. There are many winter activities such as skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, etc.
There is even a professional day care which we had registered for our daughter. Apartment Etoile is a new apartment which is modern and offers all the comforts to accomodate 4 to 5 persons. The apartment also gives the feeling of staying in a chalet with the wooden beams and roof and offers a serene view of the town and alps.
But mostly, we were impressed with the cordiality and helpfulness of the management staff (big thanks to Carla and Rob) for the booking and getting us acquainted with the apartment and the area/activities. We highly recommend a visit to Samoens in this apartment.
Amusez-vous bien!

Ski adventure to Lac Gers
"In beautiful bright sun we ski'd down the 14km blue Cascades run. Sophie (7yrs) enjoyed racing down often way ahead of us, while Nicoline (11yrs) went for some offpiste along the run. The views of Mt Blanc where amazing and we more or less had the run to ourselves. About 2/3 down as we came into the wooded area Carla stopped by a sign for Lac Gers and made a call and 5 min. later a local farmer came racing down the mountain on a snowmobile. The kids, and adults I might add, where thrilled when he threw 5 robes out for us to hold on to, as he whizzed us up the mountain. After 5-8 min we arrived at the restaurant by Lac Gers where we had a fantastic 3 course meal and very friendly service. After a great lunch we ski'd the last 4km down to Sixt and caught the bus back to Samoens. This is definitely not the last time we ski the Grand Massif and visit Lac Gers!
